Hi Arek,

From two months I'm owner new Suzuki V-Strom 650 , before that I had Honda Seven Fifty but after three years I sold it.
There is also old russian bike iz-49 but currently it doesn't work and I have to start renovation.

So at least polish tread appear :) A couple of years on ADV, a few of graet trips but only in my imagination :) maybe some day will come true... but this forum is a real inspiration. Got old Africa Twin and if I got time and cash for the fucking expensive petrol go in ride all around Podlasie which is nice part of Poland to off road riding. Sorry my poor english.

Well, Polish threads do exist - sort of. They do not have to wave the flag, but the adventurous spirit is here, on ADVrider: there are many great ride reports. As an example, check out Sambor1965's report on Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, etc.. This is probably his biggest & baddest thread.

I had the pleasure of meeting Krzysztof a few years ago when visiting Krakow; at the time I have been thinking about joining his fledgling Central Asian touring company for a trip. Unfortunately, these plans fell through, compounded by the death of his partner, Izi, over there. Krzysztof is still semi-active on the forum, use search.

There is also another favorite report of mine, I cannot recall the title on short notice, where a young guy traveled east from Poland into Russia, in an absolutely minimalist fashion. Sleeping in gas stations, no expenses, etc. Great read, I'll try to dig it out.
