Wet Weather Gear In March !!!
Crossed the Nullabor early last year where it was the wettest there for 15+ years, lots of mud and hard slogging. Now I am heading off next Sunday from Gippsland up to Central Queensland and all I hear is of rain and closed roads......
Only plans I have is to drop in at Canberra, Singleton and Brissy. Now to find the best/most interesting way without playing submarines, bit of a nightmare digging through council notices on road conditions etc. Be good if I can go over the Alpine and across from Ormeo to Tallengatta, any other hints from locals along the way on good to see sites that are unaffected ?? ![]() If you want a drought breaker either build a Desal plant or ask me to plan a ride ( 10 days to do the trip. ) |

Looking forward to defrosting after 12 months down here John. Hopefully most of the wet stuff has gone by next Sunday. Getting a rough idea of the path up and yes the camera will be at hand
