You're probably in for a reconnaissance ride this Sunday too right?

I've actually been laying low and feeling sort of puny the last four or five days but starting to "heal" I think. Let's see what Saturday brings (no, not St Patricks Day) and go from there. Yeah, I would not mind getting out for a ride.

Both! Want to meet some of you ADV guys too. I'd camp, but I already have 3 overnight trips planned between now and the end of April. I'm already pushing it with the lady! She's pretty tolerant of my addiction. I guess a guy could have worse one's, right?

Good on Vacation Days

Grand kid birthday party today, daughter's concert at LBCC (Willamette Valley Concert Band), outdoor chores at home (fill wood box etc), spend quality time with wife and the usual busy stuff. Would they all understood my need to ride... maybe not. I'll get the commitments out of the way today. Grand daughter did ask for a LONG motorbike ride with Grandpa for her birthday. She's 10 and has been riding with me for several years (1/2 hour to an hour rides).

I will see you at the spring break Crooked River camp/ride... got Thursday and Friday off work. Plan on leaving about 10 am via hwy 20 to Sisters & Bend, then hwy 27 north to camp ground. That would put me at the camp about 3 to 4 pm, depending on the snowy pass conditions. Do have tire chains for the bike and will dig them out today. They are cut down 13" auto chains with ice breaker bars and 25 mph is a good speed for them.

Nobody going with me yet, but still waiting. Frank, are you in?

Dave

I think I'm out for this Sunday. Bad muscle spasm in my neck. Helmet would probably just aggravate it.

Hmmmm, I'm starting to rethink this whole - camping in a field with 1000 other assholes and fighting them for the same trail for my first ride of the year - thing.

Easy-Z ,
Quit thinking and come ride!
It's a campground, not a field.
There are about 12 of us!
WTF, Your first ride of the year?
Come on you can do it!

First weekender anyway.

Time off is a bit dear so I'm not leaving Beaverton until 4:00 on Friday. I'm trailering. If I'm lucky, I'll get there just in time to set up my tent in the dark.
