Good grief! I'm 57 years old; what the hell am I thinking?

It looks like fun, in a perverted kind of way...

Thank you sir for making me not the oldest guy on the team....

I don't think I'll be in any shape to ride back home if I took the KLR out there. Better rent an ambulance for the return trip.

Yeah, well, you could still be the slowest! I have exactly six months to "train". At my age, I don't even dare procrastinate; I'll need every bit of that time. I'll be doing some of this:

I'll lay claim to being the stupidest, so I now own two titles!

Jon

I did not want to be the puss that suggested driving. So thank you for that.

Been drinking again???? When you have a Sasquatch/giant sized guy with you... He does the carryin'

Of course if there are enough of us and we carry Lobster... We would have to get some kind of award.

But, Sat. start times are filled up and that would probably have us finishing on Sun. With a Sat. start.

6 months? I should be able to get in the shape I was in at maybe 38-40ish?? If I can get to 35-38 I would be good to go.

Still not Lobster taxi! I'm not carryin' Gas doc either!.

Aw cmon where's the team spirit? I think it'd be awesome if we devised a way to get the whole team through in time.

We are at 6... my sister has signed up!

If you had suckered us into this a week ago... We would have only paid $95 to get in

Well, I started training tonight learning the first 1/3 in Wu something or other T'ai Chi. I wasn't the most out of shape person there, and I have some sort of balance. I was probably the most gorgeous though! I am allowing myself one celebratory Jack n sour. It's in a quart glass, but it's only one!

I'm going to start hitting the YMCA before work instead of the evening. So if anyone in FDL wants a rowing and stairclimber buddy. I should be there around 5:30 or so.

Looked into it some more and there is a tough mudder race in Kimball, 20ish minutes from my door. If my Doctor OKs it, I think I am going to do it.
