You'll be able to cover some distance with that Bike. Good tires and you won't be sleeping much.

I am starting to wonder if there will be anyone else on KLRs. All those lighter dirt type bikes and everyone will be doing single track.

Anyone else with heavier bikes and riding gravel roads and not hard core single track??

Sorry to say c-zulu, but your heavier bike don't count!!! . I saw last year how you, Lance and Toadl tore up the single track. You may have been riding a bigger heavier bikes, but there is no way I could or would try to keep up with you guys. You guys are very good riders (and maniacs!!!). I did stay up last year, but when a person is older, like me, it hurts more and longer when I do crash.

Ride anytime

biker4ever, Martha has my tickets to DC, so it looks like I'm out for this one.
I would like to catch a summer weekend a bit later though, thanks.

That would be great!!!!!! The Paul Bunyan Forest opened this week so we will be checking out the trails. We have already been out scouting all the dirt roads.

Food

FOOD: I thought we could do burgers and brats on Friday evening, homemade chili with homegrown beef and also homemade chicken noodle soup with homegrown chickens on Sat evening. Sat lunch will be at Stompin Grounds and I am not sure of what we will be doing for breakfasts.
How does this sound and does anyone have any other ideas?

Joe is a good guy and is also a member here. If he knows about this thread, he might even post. He has plated a couple of WR250s and posted about them.
