That is what I said...to be truthful I don't think they really looked that closely. My bike was spotless so they probably only get upset when its obviously dirty or if there were a family of racoons living in the crate.

Love your handiwork as always Sylvia. Look forward to saying g'day tomorrow maybe - although I'll be up for scrutineering pretty early, scheduled for 8:40am, so maybe Friday. No point starting the early mornings sooner than you have to!

Thanks for this. Enjoy yourselves!
Thanks blue. I gave Dakar about 3 seconds and decided it would be a logistic nightmare.

Lean, mean bare bones Oz Safari rally racing machines...

Matt Fish's CPW/KTM Motorex weapon... (above) Not much excess weight on this one...

Defending #1 and #2 plate title holders Todd and Jake Smith on their Team GHR 450 Hondas (above).

The South African/GHR Team (above)

For those US followers wanting to put a face to a name... this is American rider Mike Johnson, who will be carrying the #10 plate in the Australasian Safari 2012.

Well folks... documentation is almost wrapped up...

then it will be time for the ceremonial start... the prologue... and then BLAST OFF for real...
