What a nice bike!

Here in Argentina we are waiting to see if Yamaha brings it..
Tell me, is it basically the XTZ 250 with different fairings or does it have some more changes?

Have they put a 520 chain in this one instead of the XTZ 250's 428 one?

Thanks for the photos, yours look beautiful!

I want one?

Does anyone know if this bike will pass U.S. Emissions Standards if imported from Brazil - I have the XT 250 and I love it, but with the fuel capacity and windscreen on this bike, I'd love it even more!!!

That is a real beauty, i had a 2009 xt250 and the quality is unreal, that bike ran like a sewing machine, 7k miles and never even a hiccup, that tenere you got is just a beauty.

Hi Croc,

nope, the engine's the Brazilian version of the XT250, air cooled engine.

It's a lovely engine and my Yamaha Japan XT250 gave me 75,500 miles of trouble free riding.

Every XT250 engine I've heard does make some odd sounds, especially if you try to ride at too low RPM's but they're quality kit!

Regards

Reggie
