Banjercito Location in Mazatlan?

I plan on getting my TVIP at Eagle Pass/Piedras Negras and then riding south to Central America. On the return trip I plan on ferrying to La Paz. Can anyone tell me the location of the Banjercito in Mazatlan before getting on the ferry? I have found a list of location all along the border, but it is my understanding that you cancel your TVIP before crossing to Baja.

Insurance is purchased, bike is packed & heading for Texas and points south on Thursday!!

We tried to turn ours in at the terminal at La Paz a couple of years back and couldn't. They could issue them for the main land but not cancel them. If you are heading up through San Felipe you can turn them in at the truck crossing at Mexicali.

I had planned on re-entering at Tecate and I know there is a Banjercito there. I just thought that since one is not required for Baja I could take care of it then.

To only semi highjack your thread
I will be entering Mexico through Tecate in a few weeks and returning in April
When I applied for my tvip I had planned to enter /exit at Mexicali
Can I indeed turn in a permit there even though my stated port of exit is Mexicali?
I am doubtfull since Tecate is a Baja port of entry and not a mainland one

Simply keep the TVIP until you exit Mexico at the frontera norte.

For grins, here is a Directory of Aduanas (not current, but very close)

You're fine

Entry and Exit border points vis a vis TVIPs do not have to be the same location.

Banjercito in Tecate (or not)

As far as I know...there is no Banjercito in Tecate. You must go to either Tijuana centro (very hidden) or Mexicali truck crossing (7 miles east of Mexicali). It doesn't matter where you cancel your permit...but you won't get your deposit back if you don't cancel within the 180 day permit.
