Wish I still had it! 1957, Chevy B210, two door wagon. Dad bought it new in 1957 for $1,700. Turned it over to me as my daily driver in 1971 -- a year before I got my license

We sold it in 1976 for $1,600.

This was taken after a repaint in about 1974 or so with about 130K on it. The top and inside the chrome fins are original color. Original paint wasn't available so we went with a shade or two lighter. Six cylinder, three speed, overdrive. I think the only option was heat. I added a kick ass 8-track, 6x9 speakers in wooden boxes, and of course shag carpeting

I had an awesome 1974 Pinto Wagon. It was 500 bucks and I drove the push rods right out of it... literally.... in third gear, doing about 80.....

BRG just like this one. Paid $150 for it, did a valve job, new top, carpets, exhaust, etc. Drove it for a couple of years and sold it to buy a '65 Corvair Corsa 140hp, very modified.

Don't miss the Alpine, still wish I had the Corsa.

When I was 15 or so my mom was looking for a used car to drive. Somehow I talked her into this :

'69 SS396 Camaro, M-22 rock crusher, posi rear. Ours was the same color as this, hugger orange, but had a black vinyl top, dog dish hub caps, chrome stack hood instead of the high rise, no spoilers. It was, as Camaro's go, a bit of a sleeper looking car, a plain Jane grocery getter with the exception of the SS and 396 badging.

I took my drivers test in it and YES, I still wish I had this one. As an adult I tracked it down to Arizona somewhere and lost the trail.

First car, matching hat, matching pumps, all would be worth a lot of $$$$ now!

To be 13 again....!

Then 15, same car! Rock & Roll...!

1972 Datsun 510 and I want one back.

Mine was a 1972 Datsun 510 that I totally tricked out. After that I moved to a 1972 2002, and then a bunch of 1960s Cheveles followed by more BMWs.

1979 Jeep CJ7, Corvette Yellow lifted with 31" tires looked kinda like the one below.

Horrible Gas Mileage, Horrible Reliability, and rusty as hell. The girls at school loved though

When I bought it, I didn't realize just how much bondo was holding that thing together, beating it down the back country roads in the hills of Western Mass made all that bondo fall out and the tub damn near fell apart It was a fun 8 or 9 months of ownership til I got a much more reliable and practical yet fun car the 1984 Rabbit GTI

My third or fourth car was a 510. Went undefeated in 79 in auto-cross in my class. Would LOVE to have another!

I think I put more miles on the pedal truck... Unfortunately I broke the VW exiting a frozen lake after a rousing victory over a Sabb 96...

She's bone stock and the ony thing that has even been replaced is the water pump, radiator, cooling fan, valve seals, plugs, muffler, front brake calapers, lines, and tires. the stock carb even still has the plugs over the adjustment screws. she needs new struts and a paint job but Ied drive her anywhere today.

My first car was an 87' T-bird with 150,000 miles on it.

I drove the wheels of my T-bird......and then I bought one of these:

I wish I still had both cars.....the Supra more than the Bird....but they were both special.

Even at an early age I preferred open-wheeled sports cars.

I had one about like that. My first was a green 69 Z/28 though.

I liked the Z a lot better.
