What carb's are you planning to run?
Looks like we will be running the stock carbs.

Really not very hot in Baja at the end of April (Loretto averages in the mid 80's). Remember these guys are from AZ not the cold rainy Northwest, they know how to deal with heat. Poor quality gas is a thing of the past, unless you are buying out of drums. Some would say PEMEX is actually better as it doesn't have the ethanol added like we do.

SB I actually said that.

I was basing my observations off of the condition of the 350 after the Outta site guys tore it down from last years race. Which is why I set the engine up on the looser side of the tolerances (pistons) and added the oil cooler. I think if we keep our speed up through the deeper stuff we should be ok. The gas comment was based on running a high compression setup and not all stations having the red stuff available.

Look forward to meeting you (SB) should be pretty easy to find us. We will be on the other sl, the faster red one.

You just know he is!!!

Dont think JG will be back from the dyno test until late today, the turbo install was finicky. Trying to get the nitrous squirt just right took him a bit longer than expected. Word on the street is that the problems are all ironed out.

Now what was that drabble in the other thread about just seeing taillights???

we are racing as hard for underdog status as we soon will be in the desert! This is too funny!

And John is working hard on the bike today! He just texted me some shots of the rumored oil cooler! It looks wicked mounted up and the skid plate is not nearly as ugly as he let on. The LAMEco special SL350R is starting to take shape.

What's really funny is the guys on the modern bikes are going to be saying..."SL who?" as they fly by both of us in the whoops.

I can't wait to see your nitrous set-up...we have purposely kept ours under wraps. That and the supercharger...here's a little artist's rendering...I doubt you could copy this in two weeks, but then again...

Reliability hasn't been a problem...However, we just keep ripping rear tires apart due to the insane horsepower

I mean, you've seen our t-shirts right? Those flames coming out of the exhaust are real, dammit!

BTW, I haven't seen your order for shirts yet, should I put you down for 4? Oh and the stickers are in if you want one for the tank and a couple for the Surburban......

Perhaps I've shared too much......
