Glad you are still breathing. Hope meds are great and you heal super quickly.

So he's off for the third set of X-rays. Expect him to be glowing soon. The doc was interesting.

Lis frank was a French calvery surgeon. The injury was very common when a rider fell off their mount, but their foot got tangled in the stirrup resulting in dragging the rider. Due to loss of circulation, amputation was most likely the outcome.

Guess we are fortitous to ride with heeled boots and open stirrup bars.

It was brought to my attention from Dave that Bruce's injury is my fault. We made another loop to find my right blinker that fell off during an earlier crash I had with Paris. The butterfly affect... Sorry Bruce

At least I got a few pictures and videos in..

Mini-Ride report for the day
Blaster, Dorito, Joints, Lance and I headed out to Eagle Bay this morning for a dedicated attempt at the 11 mile "expert" loop.

We headed out into the woods somewhere around 9am.
The "Expert" loop is very tight technical riding..there are quite a few places where you have to thread your handlebars through the trees one at a time. Lots of roots, ruts, vines and hills....all in all...lots of fun

I tried to stay ahead of the group and get some pictures
I got Erik coming through the woods

Dana rounding a turns (she looked like she was going much faster)
[IMG]http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n632/klradvrider/102_3714_zps0945704a.jpg[/IMG

Erik, Dana, Bruce and I completed the Expert loop...about 11 miles and it only took us about 2 and a half hours

Then after a quick break we started riding the 2 mile loop with Lance...

I even got a shot of Lance riding dirt....

After the Expert loop, the pace on the 2 miler seemed to pick up a bit...
Somewhere in the loop...Lance had to lay "paris" down and broke the turn signal loose in the process. Apparently it fell off the bike after he started riding again.
So we all went on another loop to see if we could find it....
Bruce took lead and found the light...(which is likely still in the KDX's tail bag) then took off setting the pace the rest of us tried to keep up with...
Leading through a tight rutted turn he got crossed up and ended up on the ground...we could tell he was hurting, but he had to ride the bike out...his choice not ours...we offered to ride him out on the back of someone else's bike...hell, Lance was going to build him a stretcher and drag him out...

Hopefully I'll be able to get a few videos posted soon...

Hell....the way we were riding, we would have made a few more loops with or without you losing you light...

It was actually my fault for putting too much pressure on him from behind...

I think we should start placarding ourselves during any group ride..something like this might work.

Hi Everyone..

Thanks for all the well wishes! The torturing continues here. They have this uncanny knack of popping into the room every 45 mins or so....all.night.looong. I guess there is one bright light to getting out of ER and into the main hospital is free wi-fi.

Cheyenne and I went back in the afternoon...

Sadly, that's about as far as we got. Just couldn't keep her bike running without the choke..looks like I've got some garb cleaning to do.
