Regarding the 990, I think it would be fine the problem as Bruce says its the "rider." I bet the 990 would kick ass on that track with the right wheels and the right rider.
Not I, didn't race that one last year. Planning on running the KLX this year. I would take the KLR over the KTM if I had to take a bigger bike. It's an endurance race...something like an hour and a half to do as many laps as you can....my goal is just to ride the entire race.
I don't think I have the skill/endurance combination to get around there on the KTM.

Agreed! that would be awesome! I think you should take the 990 and I'll take the TTR.

Just because you own a Katoom T-shirt doesn't mean EVERYTHING in the garage needs to be orange!

No problemo. Last rule, everyone goes home with one bike. Doesn't have to be the bike you came in on. And if you go home with a bike with more damage than you came with, tough noogies.

Pretty sure most of you don't like the "cheap" helmets but I figured I'd at least pass this one on...

BILT Dual Sport Helmet

When I ordered one yesterday I also got a 20% military discount...$79
Almost makes them disposable

Well here you go then, only $29.95 was originally $95.95, seems like good future financial planning....I mean really what's the likely hood of having an accident.

Eagle Bay Sunday?

The weather doesn't look promising, but if it doesn't rain I was probably going to hit the trails (trees) again on Sunday. Anybody interested?

Also, the Pro-Am riders are at Budds Creek this weekend too (if you rather watch than ride).
