Nice GPX file. I will be in Marshall on Saturday and wouldn't mind joining y'all if you would have me.

Did you go with the 15/47 front/rear sprocket conversion?

The F650's come stock with a 17 tooth front and for light trail work and some road we will be using the 16T and for heavy trail work we will be using the 15T front. Going from the 17T to the 15T she lost about 10 MPG, so somewhere in the high 50's if I recall. Stock rear is a 41T and I think with the new wheels its either a 42T or 43T. Bottom line is right now we are running 16/42 or 43T setup. That's what we plan to run for the Continental Divide ride this summer but we will most likely run the 17T front out and back and switch to the 16T once we get to Albuquerque.

Sorry for the late update(Had to take the kid to dinner and a movie). Had a great time today. All on road stuff today, it started out kinda mundane but finished with some great lessons. I learned that I need to work more on my emergency avoidance drill(NO DUH).
