Jan RTE in Baltimore & a little Nipple!

By all accounts, the RTE was smashing good fun. Blaster decided he wanted to give his new foot a good workout, so we left SoMD earlier PM and found a nice back road track into Baltimore.

Naturally we still got in Baltimore very earlier, so we made a run for the Maryland Tag. As we approached the tag spot, I think he was over joyed, because he was already off the bike and tossing leaves by the time I looked up. But find Crabby he did!

The route back to the city was a straight shot, and we went right by another old tagging spot:

Ironically, RFlaggs and Blaster tried to find that one on a midnight tag and couldn't find it for the life of them. Now, we seem to stumble on it every.time. we go to Bmore.

We got to Roccos and got some primo parking!

The neighborhood looked benign enough, we decided to go inside. About 10 mins, the big son of Rocco is talking about some trying to steal some bikes. I figure he's just toying with me. So, we go outside. Sure enough someone had tried jacking some BIcycles chained an adjacent street sign, but his sister had saw it and thwarted their attempt. I guess the reason for low crime in Little Italy, those folks are 'self regulating'

The food was really primo!

Tenderlion

Chisenhallw was right, ain't nothing on the menu bad!

Then we decided that Blaster needed to walk some more on that foot, and we had a night cap at

And, it was here that we learned that this place is just like a nipple rub:

Some folks needed a new Avatar, so I will make that a .gif when I get some time this week

Dynamick convinced us Gorilla Glue is the only stuff that Anthropolgy will find in 100K years..

And AnathemaRising actually finished all of this:

I think he might be in a diabetic coma right now...

It was a really delightful time, and over delivered! But perhaps the best part of these, is that folks don't seem to want to leave without a plan for the next one! Here's what we've got:

Feb: AnathemaRising to lead
April: Dynamick to lead

J4S: When is the NY deli one? March might be dicey on weather?

Wicked Another day another RTE!

As usual....another RTE. We meet up at EOD3MC's place this morning and quickly learned that the place we were going in Tappahanock, Lowery's, stopped serving Bfast at 1030...so off we went. Since the KLR is down Dave rode the DRZ and allowed AJ to ride the KTM...nice guy.

Safety Dave will be coming along on the ride today.

Dave with his unusually usual look.

Crabby having some chow before he has to go back out in the cold.

They also had this cool bird, Mynah, which supposedly could talk, all I heard was whistling but none the less cool.

And our random parking

Thanks for the Breakfast RTE Dave and good to meet and ride with some new faces.

You people suck.

Had to work this weekend, but on the bright side I think I opened enough boxes this weekend to pay for a used G450.

Dave will potentially be good with that since he will be just getting back from Rawhyde. He was complaining last night about us going without him. Right now that seems good for my calendar.

Started playing a bit with the Middleburg/White's Ferry Option. Here's a track that is 200 miles. I am certainly not in love with it. Another option was Blue Ridge, but it will probably be bloody cold.

I'd like to get off the peninsula for the day, thinking about maybe trying to re-wicker and find something around Lake Anna?

Funny, I did this same route yesterday from DC to White's Ferry. Good roads with just a splash of gravel mixed in to keep you on your toes. Got room for one more?
