Last year, they really wanted the big bikes...and had the course designed for the pigs.

Erik.....Dan said you are so screwed! Your 625 has a high likelihood of killing you with all the power it's making now. Oh and the suspension should work way better as well.

...rookie question for all you single-track riders w/ handguards. What's the best way to install the full bar type on the throttle side? I have seen some cut off the little lip on the end of the grip, roll back the rubber a little, take a sliver off the throttle tube, and install that way. However, I am worried about dirt and crap getting between the tube and the bars, given the guard bar doesn't cover the hole 100%...if that makes any sense.
![]() Here's a shot of how I did the clutch side. I left the lip on there, heated up a socket and pressed into the center of the end cap (to score out a perfect circle as a template), and then tapped out the center with a drywall cutting tip on the Dremel. It was nerely perfect, but there was a small opening that the Cycra bar didn't cover...so I used a black neoprene washer to seal it off to help reduce the amount of dirt/water that gets in there. That being said, I am just not seeing how to seal up the throttle side, given I can't have rubber on rubber washers binding and sticking the throttle. I am 99% sure I need to remove the rubber lip, but I just envision a big gapping hole that lets in tons of dirt between the throttle tube/bars. Thoughts?

Full disclosure, I've not "test-ridden" the route. It was a compile from two sources. We may love or hate it!
