The sand/root step-up should be a lot more fun as a step-down...

EB Sat--Riders up at?

Anybody want to start a bit later, so maybe we don't have chisel icicles? Maybe gas up at 1130 and EB arrival around noon?

Eagle Bay Update

From Don

Quote:
Today we began to mark the course at Eagle Bay in the CCW direction using WHITE triangular arrows. All points of entry and road crossings to both the long and short loops are marked with WHITE arrows (CCW) and Ws (CW). Please begin to ride in the CCW direction but be careful as there may be trees and branches facing point first in that direction. The short loop is pretty well marked and the long loop will be filled with more arrows as time goes on. The grass track is still marked with BLUE arrows in the CW direction.

This email has been sent out to all 2013 members of record as well as the EB Google list. If this is the first EB related e-mail that you have received since the beginning of the year, then you are likely NOT on the EB Google list and need to let me know

No. The last time I did that I got someone hurt... Still feel bad. The only good that came from it was some sexy looking Motocross Boots.

Mapping complete!

We'll call them the Furlough Friday map set, with a basic cloverleaf pattern.

--The Amish 100
--Mallows Bay and 'Moy
--To Be Named: through Croom across RT231 down Broomes Island
--To Be Named: Croom North to BMore
I've combined the last two, and they are called "Croom Country". Posted a link to the map set on post #2 here and also over on GPX tracks section.

Southern Maryland Tarmac Tracks

If anyone has other tracks they need help creating, give a holler!

I've been scouting some tracks "north of the mason Dixon" for some time now. I'd like to propose July 27, as the current calendar is somewhat collided on available dates.

As always, we'll coral somewhere in the AM for food, we'll find food and merriment somewhere in the middle, and knowing us, we'll have a nice cream as a happy ending.

I've not sorted the actual track out yet, but I am using this file as inspiration.

As always, feel free to find some wheels (2 or 3 preferred) and join us!
I would love to go, but I should be half way up the Dempster to Inuvik by that day! I have had a great ride in Micheaux last year.
