I'd rivot the 990 for sure, but on dirt bikes and supermoto's i use a clip + safety wire like posted above. I've never had one break before but you do have to keep an eye on the clips they wear out and can get really thin.

Reason I use the clips on the dirt bikes is for changing chains and sprockets easily, or just removing the chain for maintenance.

Yeah, MRI came back with bone bruises... I think there might still be something else going on, but I went from allot of pain 2 weeks ago but still weight bearing, to not weight bearing, to 1 week later just a bit of pain.

The doc told me to take it easy and start pt in 2 weeks.

We'll see, not sure how bone bruises would cause the clicking sound when I walk but I really trust my PT guy so we'll see what he thinks of it.

Thanks for checking.

From the amount of standing water we have here...Saturday might be a mess

Let us know what the PT guy thinks...might be good data points for the rest of us.

I went for the first of two MRI's today, another one next week. I have been so irritated with my situation I didn't read the script well enough to notice that he wanted two MRI's done, one on the ankle and one on the foot. Unfortunately it's going to cost me $150 for each one since I haven't meet my deductible for the year.

Yep, I was thinking that today as I looked at the lake in the back yard....maybe we can just play it by ear whether we do Saturday or Sunday, or wait for Donk to give us a report on conditions.

Good vid, and I hope your ride report is as good! BTW, you can't call it riding in the mud, unless you have to bring a spatula!

Ouch. I just met mine, soonest I've ever done it. It hurts but it's game on for the rest of the year

DonK sighting! Don, Doug, and someone else were out there removing the old trail markers and putting new ones up...in the other direction....so the direction on both the long and short loop is now reversed.

I liked the direction change, as it felt like a whole new trail that I have never driven on!
OK, I'm jealous that you get to ride during the week how do you do it?
