Katz

Quote:
Each week, Katz's serves 10,000 pounds of pastrami, 5,000 pounds of corned beef, 2,000 pounds of salami and 12,000 hot dogs.

In 2013, Zagats gave Katz's a food rating of 25, and ranked it as the #2 deli in New York City
Well, I guess that leaves 9,995 pounds of pastrami, 4,995 pounds of corned beef, 1,995 pounds of salami and 11,997 hot dogs for us since we won't have to share with your FFs!

I read that as:

I tend to agree with my reading equally as your writing.

Have been able to dodge Texas since 1990... A few years ago the wife was looking into grad school in Austin. Went so far as to investigate real estate but that storm pasted.

Wasn't it a big group of Manhattan BMW riders that came to Laurel Fork last year? You might want to swing by and say hello. Maybe score some swag....

Yeppers. Any idea if they are heading down this year VAC? I won't be at Laurel Fork... again. Another friggin' wedding to attend. At least this one is in state.

The plan we have for us:

Friday: Leave the peninsula around 0700-0800, haul the little bikes out in the truck. Arrive Sugar Grove NSA around noon. Ride from 13-1700. Easy warm up track.
Sat: Ride all day. We plan on completing more of the challenging tracks.
Sun: Get up and pack the truck up. Go riding until 1300. Then haul home.

Plenty of great riding centered around Sugar Grove from twisty tarmac, to dirt riding in George Washington National forest. As an active Navy base, any non-DOD registered vehicles will need proof of vehicle insurance, valid vehicle registration and drivers license. All must be in the same name.

Off to work on some tracks for the trip.

Incase anyone hadn't seen them before, while they are called "cabins" they are more like a Holiday Inn Express. Here's one of the RR with pics of the cabin.

Finally got moving on the luggage situation. Ordered the Kriega Overlander 30. I can add another 30 liters of storage with a top pack. Shipped two day leaving tomorrow so it should be here Friday. Which is good, cause I'm planning on heading to Blacksburg on Sunday for a few days to visit a buddy.

Didn't really have any issues with anyone and damage with the exception of the picture I posted earlier. Looking at the bike after it was dumped, it appeard that the lower crashbar bolts had come out and when he dropped it it drove the bar into the engine case. I don't know if he was asked to pay or not...I wouldn't expect so.

Most things we did were slow and technical, barely anything over 10 mph in the exercises and maybe 20-25 for some of the trail stuff. There were plenty of dumps but most were nothing but scrapes and scuffs.

They did have tires they were planning on putting on, some brand from solvania?? looked similar to the heidis
