Zilla also paid the sales tax!

Lastly, they finally have a sound female principle. For starters, the female staff actually might ride and have a normal IQ. Then, they don't buy women's kit in only pink (thank my lucky stars...). Lastly, they actually stock a good assortment of women's kit.
Don't worry if Blaster found what he was after then there'll be $30 in zilla cash available for your next order.

Day 1 Pine Barrens Score:

Dorito: 1.5
Blaster: 0

I know how to get 0.5? Well, I put down the kick stand to park and it just sank. I don't think it counts, but she did technically require righting.

Blaster has the vid of my second feeble attempt at the 100 yards of sand. Maybe after dinner.

Seems pretty big (over 1/2") for my set, but will check when I get home.

I put wheel spacers on my x5 and didn't get longer lug bolts for the front. The lug bolts weren't long enough and stripped out the first few threads in the rotor.

Dropped it 1.2" front and rear. 20mm spacer in the rear(got longer bolts for those) and 10mm spacers up front(need to order bolts). Makes the wheels look like they should from the factory.

...sounds like your getting her ready for the track. Are you going to get better traction, gas mileage, etc... or is it just aesthetics? Looks good with the trailer.

Just for looks. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it would still look funny going around a track.

Great Weekend of Riding...

On Saturday, BreeAnna and I rode in the Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity Poker Run...BreeAnna was officially the youngest participant in the event and drew a lot of attention with her Pink mohawk helmet. The KTM got quite of few looks as well. There were actually two KTMs out of about 200 motorcycles...Can you spot ours?

Over all the weather was great and we did about 170 miles...

Today Both girls and I participated in the Washington Area Trail Riders Spring Trail Ride...
It is a Blind Enduro competition held at Eagle Bay. This family friendly event is a competition but not at race. For a Blind Enduro, you complete multiple laps on one of the tracks for time. At the end of the day, the person with the most consistant lap times wins...

We got an early start and headed out around 7:30

Found a good spot next to a friend of ours.and his Honda 150.

Got the girls and I registered, waited for the riders meeting and they were ready for the trails. They changed things up a bit this year and moved the kids track to flatter ground. But the added parts of the previous kids track to the 2 mile loop. Made for a really nice course to run...the kids seemed to like the other track better as well...

Cheyenne just tore it up....First on her TTR 50 then on BreeAnna's KLX 110...

Mike and I hit the two mile loop and had a good bit of fun...as well both with the kids and chasing each other.

At the end of the day, the girls had made friends with another pair of sisters who rode at Eagle Bay who we will likely coordinate a few rides with, nothing or no one broken...so we headed up to the door prize drawings and race awards.

We did alright with the door prizes, the girls both won "KawiGirl" coffe mugs and I won a bottle of plastic cleaner...But it was the awards that surprised us most...

You might remember that last year Dorito took home a third place award in the Womens class, and two years before I took home a first place in the men's novice class...well, there's a new member to that group...
Cheyenne.....she took first place in the Kids 10 and under class (she was also the only girl)

But....she wasn't the only winner in the family....

I took first in the 16 and over Advanced class....
no cool plaque...no cool trophy....not a cool printed piece of paper in a frame.....
It was something much more practicle....

Mike, it was great being able to ride with you again....thanks for the help keeping the kids corraled...

Also ran into MotoCox and Tom...think those guys stayed on the expert sections...

Spring Trail Ride

Your girls had a great ride!! Be sure to tell then congratulations!

I hit the expert section for 3 laps. 12 miles each lap. First lap was 41 minutes and xx seconds. Next two laps were 40.29 and 40.31. TWO seconds difference after 24 miles of single tract. I was sure to crash in the same spot each lap. That trail flows and bends and ups ands downs really nice. Had a great time.
Great seeing EOD and BadGuy.
RIDE ON.
