All right, I'll buy it from him. Text me when you get to the hotel and we'll arrange a hand off.

Edit: Banquet starts at 5:30 pm at the Marriott.

Eric

1100 find chow near track
1145 Depart for track

Utilizing a fleet of Sodi RX7 13hp Karts, events large and small will have everyone grinning from ear to ear. See for yourself, this is serious Karting.

The Track

The Washington Circuit features 10 feet of elevation change, 1300 feet in length and over 300 feet in width. It is capable of being configured for many uses.

20 turns, including a sweeping 160 degree decreasing radius corner and 3 straights with one stretching .52 miles in length will keep you coming back for more. And the action doesn’t stop after the sun sets with our fully illuminated track. Karting under the lights is an entirely different experience not to be missed.
  • 0.52 Miles
  • 30′ wide
  • 20 Turns
  • 350, 400 and 650 Foot Straights

Out for Eagle Bay tomorrow, staying home and riding the obstacles in the yard, plus I need to haul some dirt and refine a few more things tonight.

More variations on Summit Pt..

Just playing with options. Anybody want to take the road less traveled out to Summit Point? Might mean leaving earlier. If we take the green line out (4 hrs) and the quick way home (2.5 hrs)...

Not sure how the weather got so wet/muddy so fast, but decided to forgo riding this AM. Did have time for one of my (nerdy) experiments though:

Ground Clearances with same rider to lowest point of skidplate from earth:
TE511 (OEM suspension)--10.5" (233%)
DRZ400 (non-OEM suspension)--10.25" (227%)
HP2 (non-OEM suspension)--9.5" (223%)
TTR125 (non-OEM suspension)--9.5" (223%)
GSA (non-OEM suspension)--8.5" (188%)
DR200 (non-OEM suspension)--8.0" (177%)
F650twin (non-OEM suspension)--4.5" (--%)

I don't know why I keep ripping off skiplates on that poor bike:(

I was most surprised by the ground clearance on the TTR125.

Just moved to the Baltimore area (Owings Mills). Any decent dirt roads or worse around? The 500EXC isn't exactly a street ride.
