Catoctin Mountain Park is gorgeous.

If you are prior military, Solomns MWR might be an option too:

paging gastone to the white courtesy telephone

Next week I shall personally hand carry your well deserved trophy to your humble abode (translation: I'll be around the hood all week).

I will artfully slide it near the front door, hopefully escaping before the "eat me's" discover my presence (The "eat me's at your house are far more observant than those at EOD3MCs..)

Just curious, with sounding knob closed, are you just slabbing over to Monterrey on RT250?

Forest roads from here to West Augusta then down to Deerfield and dirt over to Sugar Tree to the water crossing, then I'll wing it getting back home.

I think it might take me 3 days to walk it on foot sans bike in tow/push/ride.

DRZ stuff

Well I got my spokes in earlier this week to replace the two I noticed were broken. I took the wheel off just in case they were a pain but I have to say that they went in easy and everything is back to normal. Since I noticed the broken spokes when I was putting the 47T rear sprocket back on, was 42T for the TET, I haven't ridden it much at all. I have to say that I do like riding the DRZ....with the 15/47 sprocket combo, big bore kit, and a motor with compression it sure does power wheelie really well. I like it....a lot! So only one more broke bike to fix, which was self induced.

I think I will start practicing on the DRZ for the GS trophy event until I get some confidence back and then over to the HP2.....game on bitches!!!!!

On another note Dorito went for her first ride on the X-Country today and believe it or not she has found a seat which she doesn't like.

Just the seat, bike seems good but she thinks the suspension is a bit harsh so I am going to look for any adjustments which can be made. What this really means is that this winter she will be looking for upgrades in the suspension area. She said that she sits closer to the bars which seems to be a bit more comfortable. Overall I think with the normal upgrades the bike will work really well.....but then again only time and mileage will tell.

And the box is readied:

PS Lots more room for others

Seeing as how learning from past mistakes is obviously not my strong suit, I could be hanging on to it for quite awhile.
