In a couple of months I will have a better idea of what is in the realm of possible. Colorado always calls my name, what a great place! Still looks like the front fender would need to be raised for those muddy sections. ;-)

Dave....did you make it to work today? How are you doing?
Could I make it...sure
Dud i make it....nope, putting stuff away from yesterday and getting ready for Thursday..

Chasing the Weep

Dorito had a minor weep on the oil cooler, so I decided that I had some down time why not get after it. After all, nobody likes a looking at a black motor where the weeps attract dust like a sugar cookie!

Off to drain the coolant and the oil. Needs a new o-ring so that slowed us down. Now to remember the final nuances:

1) 50/50 mix will cool your bike much better (just like the directions say)

Exhibit A

2) Time to bunker down and find the bleed screw, as there is no hope in bypassing the bleed step this time

Exhibit B

But hey with the head wrench down, I get to play in the garage all.by.myself

Oh the irony of 367. The trail marshall is hot on your tail as you play 'fly kitty'. My guess is that Cheyenne sent him after you, as sticking the landing is the tricky part

Photos look good!

On another note I got the ECU removed from the Husky today and will be sending it off for a bit of a tune.

That was right after I leaned too far into a turn and popped it into neutral and just stopped in the middle of the turn....

But I got even on that jump for Cheyenne

No, bummer, 17L looks real close concidering im 17V. I guess it's better they didn't cause it would have probably been an endo landing on the jumps, I was a little nervous on how short/steep they were.

This was over in the DRZ thread and thought it was pretty good so I thought I would share.

That's pretty slick. I wonder if you could do that with thermoplastics. I used to work as an Orthotics/Prosthetics fabricator, and we vacu-formed all sorts of plasticky shapes.
