Good thing. It's really hard to cook one of those suckers on the smoker without burning the paint job.

Question What food?

So yesterday as I was leaving work I polled everyone to see what was the one food on Thanksgiving that you could eat until they were miserable....mine is mashed potatoes and gravy, what's yours? A close second is pumpkin pie.....mmmmmmm!

It's been a good dinner when you do a "ride" report" for it...

I stayed away from the kitchen (it's much safer for everyone that way) but I did sneak in a few photos once I got passed her securty..

Doing something at the stove (making the gravy I think)

Everything ready...buffet style
Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, corn, carrots, brussel sprouts , rolls and homemade apple sauce

and soon this will be getting smaller too.... Homemade Egg Nog Cheesecake.... (with a pumpkin pie for back up)

That must have meant 15 hours...or your running late...

There was some left...and I will bring "some" of what's left to Dan's

Adventures of Blaster and Dorito for 2014

I hate to do this but here it is, recently we have been discussing several different adventures here and just wanted to let you guys know what our plans are for 2014. Pretty much all our adventures this coming year will be built around my lack of vacation time and rebuilding for an awesome trip in 2015. So to keep it simple none of our trips will be longer than one week or nine days counting the weekends… which honestly is still pretty darn goodl. I am calling this my year of rebuilding since both myself and the GSA need some work. Here is what our year is looking like so far and things will definitely change or be changed.

January: First Aid (REI class locally)
February:
March: CornerSpin (?), March MotoMadness in Tennessee 27th - 30th
April: Sugar Grove – exploring new sections for us and conquering some others
May: One or both of the Roaming Canada rally’s 7th - 11th if you want a bit of a challenge or 22nd – 26th for Big bikes. We are thinking seriously about the big bike one but you have to have a team of at least three and a maximum of six...so if interested let us know as obviously we are one short of qualifying. More information here.
June:
July: Back out to Sugar Grove for some more fun
August: Ride to Lobster (?) Maine
September: Ride to Lobster (?) Maine
October: Mountain Man 400
November: Pine Barrens 300, since we keep missing it.

Other stuff I want to do: Total Control training class, Hatfield McCoy trails, Sightseeing in Ottawa (long weekend 4 days), Ride to Cosmos for a slaw dog, I will also be training for some of the Mud Run type events as well, as I said earlier it’s a year of rebuilding….in many many ways.
