Bruce...Glad you were able to make a breakfast run this morning...You were absolutely correct about there being a Mickey Mouse fix to the symptoms I was describing to you.

After you mentioned the timing advance issue, I though about the set up more...some idiot had the "low" octane curve selected. So I stopped and filled the tank and swapped the switch position and all is good again.

I think on the West VA trip I bumped the switch with the tank bag...doooh.

Anyhow....since if there is no picture, it didn't happen...

GAstone--That would be wicked cool...but alas, I think that is just a hormone induced stooper talking.

Got on the road @8 cause I got to bed way late. Turns out there was a graduation at OU and most of the hotels east of Columbus were sold out. I hate hunting for a hotel when I'm tired.

HI guys

Hi there everyone. I've been lurking on ADV for a while and just saw this group. I'm north of Baltimore but it looks like this is the closest group to me. I travel a lot for work but when I'm home I have time off and can ride any day of the week. I ride a 1200 Multistrada and am going to pick up a DR650 tomorrow. I see the Continental divide trip on your calendar and would love to join in. My KTM 690 burned to the ground in the Utah desert last June so I need to give it another shot. My background is road racing but I love the dirt. I would say I'm only an average dirt rider and stay away from the nasty single track as my 50 year old bones don't hold up the way they used to. Thinking about Buds creek this weekend. to watch, not race

Hope to hook up with some of you soon

Don
