Another after work ride. Tested the Klim jacket with the gerbings liner tonight after I felt a bit of air getting through the X-moto last night.
Worked pretty good...couldn't resist the selfie

Yea, it was exhausting. I had a lot of fun though as I had never ridden mud like that before.

The Flexx bars take the edge off the vibs of the 2 stroke and help with hand/wrist fatigue IMO.

I would guess that about 3/4 of the course was the same as last year's. That track has some rough sections when it's dry.
You just about made it look easy

Latitude? Is it noticeably windproof? My BMG jacket is aging and was thinking of the Klim Latitude Hi-Vis.

Yea, it was very similar to last years course.

That was lap 1. Laps 2 and 3 went way way worse

Dempster without this is a real adventure - this will be icing on the cake

I really like my Olympia X-moto, but riding Tuesday night with temps in the teens, I could feel a bit more air getting through that I hadn't noticed before. I've ridden with the Latitude twice now, Last night and a quick run this morning and I didn't notice any wind getting through at all. Haven't done a downpour test with it yet

Just make sure you try on a few to make sure the size is right. We checked sizes when we stopped in at Revzilla in Philly. The jacket I thought fit well, their sales person said was actually too big for me...With only two quick rides, the Klim seems to fits me better.

Yeah, Karen might lose her jacket for those bad weather days
She won't ride in them anyhow

Very nice, the jacket's specs are everything I want from a jacket. The Hi-Vis one isn't bad looking either.

Tried them on a couple of times. Have been right between sizes. With the working out I've been doing, I hope to be in the smaller of the two. JT Motorsports will be at the DC show this week end. Last year they had "at show specials", that lasted 2 weeks after... Thinking of pulling the trigger this time 'round. Must stop at BMG first, really haven't had any issues with my Mercury in the last 6 years but it does leak now even after Tech Washing and treatment and it might just be time for change.
