One more question: What is a USFS-approved spark arrestor?

Adam....welcome!! What is your experience road riding and offroad riding? The reason I ask is this ride has concerned a few people with little experience even though it is a rather easy ride. You can PM me if you like. We will most likely meet at a Sheetz station off of 66 at about 0800/0900 and then fill up with gas, water, and munchies and head out. Its a good little ride. More details to follow later this week...

Blaster,

I have been on bikes for quite a while, motocross, and did a brief stint of GP (125) roadracing and have driven the GS off road quite a bit (and dumped it quite a bit too). Just picked up some new TKCs from Bob's BMW today (a bit pricey, guess I will be doing my own tires from here on out).

Alright, I sent in my registration for Saturday and ordered a TKC 80 for my rear wheel. You all are going to earn your TTRU credentials with me along...

Now I have a hard deadline for finishing my projects on the 800, wish me luck!

You are way ahead of me and most of the others so you will be fine. I do my own tires now as well for the same reason $$ and convenience.
