Intrested in going to Baja with us on April 13th to April 22nd ???
Hey Adv'ers,
Cain and Bartek and I are looking for 1 or 2 more riders to go on another epic Baja trip but nobody has stepped up. Riding is alot more fun in a group of 4 to 6 riders and adds an extra level of safety if someone gets hurt or needs gas etc... I have gone to Baja each year since 2008 around this time and had a great trip every time The Trip will be 85% dirt camp from the bike is also required.. 130 Mile range is needed you must know how to patch a tube and reinstall it on your bike or replace the tube with one that you are carrying The riders right now are Paul- Plated Honda 450x Cain- Ktm 530exc Bartek- Ktm 990 Paul and Cain are good offroad riders and have been to Baja before Bartek is a good offroad rider but this will be his first big trip offroad The perfect match would be 1 or 2 more big bikes (800gs, 990, Etc) and 1 more smaller bike (450, 530) that is a faster rider. Who is UP ? The dates would be Leave April 13th (after 5pm) Return home Sunday April 22nd We typically ride about 130 miles per day.. each day If your intrested in going pm me your email address and I will send you more information.. Possibly a gps track Thanks, Paul Last year

I sure wish I knew about this a few months ago, I wont be able to get my ducks in a line in time but I have a 525 with a 240 mile range and I tend to ride fast. tubes I can do in my sleep. So keep me in mind for the next one please. I've had a trip like this in mind for a while but all my friends are afraid of mexico. I hope you can find some good riders in time!

In!
Thanks for having me, guys.
This is going to be a great trip. I think I might borrow a smaller tent rather than bring the "1 br w/attached garage" Nomad tent. Would I even need a tent or is it camping under a palapa? |

Room for another GSA? Will I need to put knobbies on, or will Tourances be sufficient? Crap, just realized this is not a weekend ride. Can I join you for just April 13th to the 15th?

And yeah, knobbies definitely for anyone else. Tourances will not get you where you need to go. I'm going to put the Mitas E09 Dakar's back on for this. That strip will protect me from flats better than my TKC's. The guys at MX1Canada.com say they run them every time they go to Baja. |

I have knobbies on the small bike and could have taken that. I guess I should stop being lazy and get a set of knobbies for the GSA as well. |

I took my tourances off at 400 miles and haven't put them back on until about a week or so ago when I got a second set of wheels. Too much fun offroad I guess.

You dont NEED a tent but a tent is nice in case of wind or dew..
We are camping along the ocean 2 nites and one guy last year didn't have a tent and had a very wet sleeping bag those 2 days..
