thanks, cant wait..............after Merzouga rally this year, these UTV/SSV/SXS are the go, amazing what terrain they will get up, drop the tyres to 5psi and no dune is too tall or too steep......................

So in case anyone is dodging relatives & christmas lunches (that would not be me),
Eurosport have a 5-part preview thing scheduled starting today called "Race2Recovery: The road to Dakar"

Broadcast times over here

Have a blessed Christmas Brodo & everyone and a patient new year. I always find the 5 days between Christmas and new year a frustrating period of waiting for the Dakar to start, and now we have an 11 day wait.

Weather here in lima is still VERY misty in the mornings with it clearing somewhat on most afternoons. Hoping it will begin to clear in the next few days.

Just watched the first episode.

Anyone who tries the Dakar is a hero in my book - these guys are something else and a true inspiration.
