Question New Garmin GPS Systems

I was at a sporting goods store and the salesman showed me some stuff he got from the Garmin rep. Looks like anytime now Garmin is introducing a bunch of upgraded and new stuff. The quest is getting and update which I believe adds more memory and improves performance and verbal routing guidance - will say street names not just right turn in two miles.

There is also a new series I think it started with STI or STS or something like that. They are touch screen operated units with smaller screens than the C330 type. The are designed to be low cost Autorouting. The most expensive will be around $350 or so and will have a color touch screen and autorouting and expandable memory. There is also a lower cost monochrome unit.

The 2600 series is also being enhanced I think similar to the Quest.

Forgive me if I do not have more details but the information the sales person had was limited. But I did see the handouts from Garmin so this is real.

Does anyone have any more information than I do? If so please share. I am looking to upgrade and want to know how long I should wait and if it is worth upgrading.
