The radial adapter brackets should be 100mm spacing on the caliper end, that is the standard size for KTM style calipers like the SMR Magura that you have.

I would get the bracket directly from QTMI and confirm with them first, they make them in all kinds of sizes (probably where Motostrano sources their brackets also)

Unlike the old dirt bike caliper, this one is supposed to share the same pin spacing as the 950/990 big piston calipers, or so I have been told.

I actually just put one of these new calipers on a bike so I can measure it tomorrow to confirm. If the pin spacing is correct, the only remaining issue is axial spacing. If necessary it would be easy to make some adjustments using aluminum spacers here.
Was confirmation ever mAde between calipers, does the 320 bracket work.

Is CJ making the part? Any news?

Brent

This one does NOT work with the ADV/ SE Calipers.

Still at the drawing board, no time now to get this in the CNC. Sorry guys.

You know that we are not taking about the standard cast 320mm relocation Brembo caliper bracket but rather the new billet one that came out around 2 years ago, right? Have you actually tried that exact one? Why does it not work?

I've got one coming this week to put on my Husaberg, will also try it on the F800GS which has 990 ADV forks and brakes.

Concur. does NOT work..

I bought a calliper from Lucas and just today the new style brembo bracket like mentioned in this topic. NO go.

The 76mm pickup pin spacing from the 690 / 950 caliper is far off.

Old style EXC is like 80mm, new style exc is 70mm spacing.

Anyone has something that could work? I'm building up a pile of expensive parts that i cant use

Well, damn Steven! The guy who sold me the bracket told me it has 75mm spacing, so it would have fit the 690, 950, 990... I should have waited for you if I had known you were buying one anyway.

CJ,

Any ETA when you will be working on this? If it's not a priority for you I will try to get a shop in Germany (HE Motorradtechnik) to make them, they sell lots of different KTM brackets already.

Thanx in advance

Me like everyone (I speak for the world) just want to reach in our pockets and throw some money at someone that has the solution. Cj or LukasM just make our dreams into reality. Someone please help out the sad and deluded (or put me out of my misery and make me trade down to a BMW).

Alright guys, I just spoke to HE and they would be willing to make something, just a matter of price. They are going to crunch some numbers and will let me know about feasible timing, unfortunately the middle of the summer is not exactly ideal for a project like this...

CJ,

Don't want to take anything away from you, just seems like you have a lot of things on your plate right now. If you want the business I'll gladly blow it off with the Germans.

Cheers,
Lukas

If you source a 640SM caliper/carrier combo, you're done. I bet they can be found from ebay for a 1/3 of the price of an adapter. They are made for a 320 disc and they have the same piston area with the SE.

Then you are downgrading to 28+28mm pistons vs. the stock 30+32mms however.
