Dirt around Lake Lure, NC???
Hi ADVriders,
Live in Asheville and was planning to ride around Bent Creek/Mills River tomorrow but thought I'd reach out to see what people know about dirt roads around Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Bat Cave and that area. Pretty much anything south of Asheville. FS roads, trails, etc. Thanks for any and all help. |

DRZ 400 with trail knobbies. Nothing expert. I'm just not that good. But a jeep trail will work. Always looking for new roads in the area. I'll take any suggestions. Just tired of riding Bent Creek/Mills River, etc. Don't want to travel to Wayahhutta. Will trailer within 30 miles or so of Asheville.

Take a look at Hurricane Creek Loop, great spot and not far from Asheville.
