Over the hills and thru the woods...(Huron National Forest)

Early spring has sprung after a mild winter here in Michigan and this past Saturday presented itself as a good chance to get out and exercise the DRZ.

3 hrs north of home lies the Huron National Forest and it never disapoints.

Decent paved twisties can be had.

2 track Forest Service roads connect with ORV trails and the MCCCT in various places.

The ORV trail is generally very sandy and can be more challanging than fun at times. But this time (for reasons I can only speculate) it was more managable for two wheels.

I found some sand, some mud, some snow, some places where all 3 where waiting for me,

Enough words, on with the picture show (sorry for crappy cell phone pics):

This day trip, reminds that there is good riding somewhat close to home and that i really need a new camera

Thanks for looking.
