Repairing Clear Plastic

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for repair. I was considering using epoxy but I fear how ugly the outcome will be. I also thought of cutting square and using black epoxy or bondo since I don't need it clear it doesn't interfere with sight of the gauges. I'd love to buy a replacement however Not possible unless I'm lucky enough to find on on ebay. For Yamaha GTS1000

Ideas?

If you can remove the piece, I'd get some plaster, a double layer sheet pan, some clear thermoplastic, and I would pour out the cover, pop out the plaster, heat and vacuum new plastic over it.

It may be a bit optically abherant depending on the quality of plastic you use.

If you repaired that corner with epoxy/bondo etc. and then masked over what you did need to see and shot the whole thing black, it'd probably look pretty nice.
