Rowher flats report

We went to Rowher flats mid April.

Not too busy.

Free campsite. (Need an adventure pass)

You can get a decent toy hauler/camper up there.

The gps is all messed up. Head north on the Sierra highway and look for the obvious signpost. It tried to take me in via a private road (later when riding we found that it ends at a closed gate)

The fire roads are straightforward. Beautiful views.
With a 1200gs and tkc 80's the fire roads are fully accessible. The challenge stretches are doable with skill and determination.
We rode "fall canyon truck trail" which became "Sierra Pellona Road" at the end of that at a gate we found a turn to the right that appeared to lead to Bouquet Reservoir (the ranger confirmed this). We turned around from lack of time.

On the way back having pre-ridden a few intermediate tracks on a 250 I felt comfortable doing them on the 1200. (Be wary)

Mostly 2 strokes n small dirt bikes which are definitely the way to go. Atvs and a few 4x4s

Be wary if it's busy for collisions on a single track with people approaching from both directions.
