I said this earlier to you when got into supporting you: In my view, privateer riders such as yourself, Ned Suesse and the likes, not to mention late Kemal Merkit, are what Dakar rally spirit and rider dedication really boils down to.

Here's to you, congratulations on finishing the Dakar.!

Lyndon Calls from the Finish Line!!!

Guys, I am on hijacked internet again and on a super quick timeframe. Can someone cross-post this to the Firehose, and jab a mod to put in in the CLiff notes? Thanks!!

--------------------------
Preempting the throngs of "official" media, Lyndon first calls in to RallyRAIDio from the finish line of his first Dakar. A Dakar rookie, but hardly a novice, Lyndon's effort this year is a textbook lesson on how to bring it home. CONGRATS, Lyndon!!!

Gotta run! Way to go, Lyndon!!!

Just a reminder everyone - I've just fired a small payment (Christmas and my Wife's 40th have unfortunately skinted me) to show my thanks to both Nate and Lyndon, and I think that anyone who tuned in to Rally Raidio should do what the can...

Cheers!

Public Radio fundraising notice: (Thanks to those who have already chipped in! We're about 3/4 to our goal.)

Last year, through the generosity of the listeners, we were able to cover the cost of Neduro's phone bill for the communication costs to RallyRAIDio and ADVRider throughout the Dakar. If you've enjoyed Lyndon's call ins and interviews on this edition, consider chipping in a few $$, , or toward the cause. Many hands make light work, and based on our experience with Ned last year, the tab will run handily into 4-digit territory (sans decimals). It would be wonderful if we could take this burden off of Lyndon's shoulders.

For those so inclined,

RallyRAIDio @ g mail . com (no spaces) is the RallyRAIDio email addy to which paypal can be sent.

Thanks for your support.
