Just got to watch the video. It was great to follow along the Dakar and even now to see what's going through the mind of the competitors, the ups and downs as you described them.

What we needed this year was a GPS transponder ON YOU so we could find you in the desert!

Just watched your video Pyn and would like to thank you for taking us along for the ride. In New Zealand we don't get the coverage the rest of the world gets on the Dakar (even when our own dakar hero Chris Birch did it in 2012 TV coverage was abismal!) so your willingness and openness to share your personal Dakar with us online has given myself and a lot of other Kiwi's a special insight into the greatest race on Earth. All the best for the future.

Lyndon,

Just watched the video. Being a really old rider whose time to race has passed long ago, I want to say thanks for your awesome achievement and allowing me experience Dakar from your side of the handle bars. Looking forward to what's next for you. Now I need to dig out Pyndon's instructions on changing the water pump shaft/seal (thanks for that too).
