Nice picture before you leave home thanks. Big day in your life and thanks for sharing with us. The way you prep bikes the scrutineering shouldn't be a big deal!

God luck with the rest of your preps.

Here I am, 1:00 in the morning on the day that I head to Le Havre for strutineering. The last four weeks have truly been the busiest weeks of my life. Long drive tomorrow so I must get some sleep but I know you’ve all been waiting for this so here it is, my Dakar 2013 450RR and while the florescent lights and crappy camera don’t do it justice, you get the idea.

Thanks to everybody that’s made this possible, especially my Dad for all his help and everyone that’s contributed to the last minute rush, it seemed like we had plenty of time three weeks ago

A full and detailed build report will follow when time permits.

Beautiful bike design Lyndon, - congratulations ! First big difference i noticed is the bigger Akrapovic exhaust than the original. Shure you well tell us with a lot of nice pictures as soon as possible your other special 007 items on the bike :-)

Great work Pyn. Hope it goes as well as the bike looks. Bet it'll be a bit warmer where your going than where you are in the pic

Oh and both the t-shirts have done over 7000 km of stinky humid 40c+ riding over the past month and are still looking a treat. (after a wash of course). Had a random in Kununurra tap me on the shoulder and ask if I was you. Yeah right......

Damn, I should really look in the Racing forum more often. Support package to be ordered shortly. Looking forward to this.

The videos and write up from the Baja assault are a part of the reason I am riding a 990R now. The videos actually helped me the first time I had the big girl in deep sand this year. I remembered seeing how much the front end was moving back and forth in the videos; I knew the little wiggles I was getting were nothing. Thanks for the training!
