Lyndon delivers another awesome call. Anyone else feel like you're there with him?

Stage 5 was billed as a "short" stage, but as Lyndon reports, woe is the competitor who confused distance, with challenge. Put into difficulty on several occasions, his enjoyment of the stage is nevertheless very clear in his voice (as Ned predicted it would be today). The competitors have a 0430 start tomorrow, compounded by a further two hour loss of sleep due to the time change in Chile. Get some rest, Lyndon, you'll need it for the marathon stage tomorrow!

Great call-in!

Lyndon rocks another stage!

Welcome lynmom (Toldlady)

Babyhead big hillclimbs, reminds me of some of the Colorado trails in Haydukes area...

Is Pyn using any palm protectors under his gloves?

Dani, does Old Stuff have a cell with him? Can we text to see if we can chat with him on one of the Marathon nights when he doesn't have bike work to do?

Morning all, thanks for all the messages for mum, she is overwhelmed and more likely to post more now as she feels so at home

Can someone tell me what the CH's (in a blue circle) means on the profile for today's stage on the Dakar page, I get the rest of it and now they've thrown me

Simply great call-ins to the rally-raidio. I think the call-ins somehow bring the Dakar closest to us F5'ers, or at least to me, with their personal, emotional and philosophical touch. Neduro brings that philosophical touch so well into it, whether knowingly or not, but it is some deep stuff. These call-ins, and the footage from the Dakar underdogs battling their bikes through the night, it's just goose-bumps all over!

If Pyndon's dad would have the spare time, it'd be great to hear from him too, but that could also wait till the end of the event, so to let them guys do their actual job in supporting Pyn first and foremost, secondly have some rest for themselves - and maybe 10th, cater for our fan needs. :)
