Not only have I been hooked on Dakar for the last several years but following Ned and now yourself have brought it alive. Not many races give you the chance to speak with someone while it's occurring and we appreciate you taking us for the ride !!

Congratulations on your outstanding day and remarkable achievement.

I was commenting to my wife what it must feel like to put your signed copies of KTM gear by your offroad heroes on Ebay to fund your Dakar effort, then come in 9th place ahead of Cyril!! Keep up the great work Good luck and Godspeed.

Just looking at the start list for stage 9 this morning at 10.00gmt-3.I can never recall feeling so good before the start of a stage in the Dakar.I get the feeling this 9th stage is really set up for Lyndon.The way he prepares himself and his bike the attention to detail,the ability to think and adjust whilst driving and his masterly reading of the stage in real time show him to be a natural.Folks He truely belongs out there in that starting position.If all possible factors combine to give him the best launch platform then he only has Barreda and Casteu in front of him and Rodrigues and Despres behind him to worry about.Man I enjoyed writing that.Thank you Lyndon for giving me this gift.Now you go and enjoy yourself.
