That might be helpful. I can handle it though. I usually grab a sandwich from the local pizza place and go there right after work. Debbie (my wife, yes I'm married) usually is good about lending a hand so it's not a huge deal.

I'm on the fence about taking the whole day off on Friday or not. Someone talk me into it. Otherwise, I'll get there Friday afternoon and finish setting up camp, and get in a short ride.

From the response so far, it may be a two-campsite deal after all. I have close to 6, if not 6 confirmed already.

Might be in! See what the Suregon says next week. Might come out for the hell of it if I can't ride!

once I get settled I am going to de-farkle, give it a good cleaning/service, fix the few mechanical flaws.....Ect

or I might keep it.
I have it pretty much set-up the way I like it.
I just think a 525 will fit my riding a little better.

I saw yours sold quickly.
what is next?

What kind of riding are you talking about? I know there will be at least a few people there that will stick to the dirt roads and scenic roads if that's what you're into. If you like more of a challenge, we can accommodate that as well. Most of the enduro loop is big bike friendly, and the parts that aren't are easily avoided.

A night ride isn't out of the question either. I've been known to leave at dusk for a 20-30 mile off road ride. The trick is staying sober enough to make that happen.

4/20 is actually my birthday. Shared with Adolf Hitler. Just a useless fact.
Some say the origin of the 4/20. JERRY! I'll be there at some point.

Night ride eh? These should work.

I can now make this one, so count me in. I managed to trade the offending trip away, though I will have to leave Saturday afternoon to commute to DC for a trip early Sunday morning.

See you all there!

I'll save a spot for ya. Glad you can make it.

So far here's what I have lined up. On Friday night, my wife and I (mostly her) will be serving some clam chowder. It looks like two different kinds of chowder at this point. I'll keep the details a surprise, but I assure you all, it's going to be incredibly good.

Saturday night, at 7:00pm, I attempt to call the Pachaug Chapter of Fuckin' Fucks to order and auction off a few items. These include some prints of original motorcycle artwork done by none other that one of our own, Road Hazard. I'll also have a bag up for grabs, and probably one or two other surprises.

My plan is to get there FIRST thing Friday morning and set up. Then I'll probably go to the saw mill and get some shavings to burn. We can always forage for some lumber, but the saw mill has nice clean hardwood. By noon time on Friday, I should be ready for a ride, or a nap. Hard to say at this point.

Tonight, I started some bike maintenance. New rear brake rotor, front and rear wheel bearings/seals/spacers, countershaft seal, new front sprocket, and I'll probably end up removing the swingarm to repack that with grease too. After that, I'm taking my engine's clutch out so I can hopefully fix the starter issue and I have upgraded oil pump parts to install. New gears, shaft, o-rings, and oil jet. In theory, I should be able to get it all done.
