Wink switch or no switch?

My 2010 f800gs (orange is the best) has a pretty harsh throttle. I'm in Portland, ORegon, so our temps vary from the 40's (I don't ride in colder weather) to the 90's. So which device should I install? Juice or Power COmander? I really want a smoother throttle response....

thanks,
Roespan

A Juice would work just fine. PM me if you would like to give it a try... If you don't like it send it back for a full refund. (I don't ever get them back ). You won't believe the difference it makes.

To really feel the difference - ride the bike for a few blocks THEN install the Juice and go for a ride.

I installed an HCA Powerr Controller - love the improvement!! I considered the snatchy throttle to be just an inconvenience until Erling did his dyno test. Once I saw those results I decided some change in the stock system was a necessity. Would love the PC V w/ AT, but too spendy for me right now. HCA's controller does everything advertised for a very affordable price and same-day shipping!!

Thanks Mongo....
Yeap.. I agree Erling's dyno shows how the factory tuning is crazy lean on our F800gs.... The Power Controller is a less expensive alternative to give our bikes a little more needed fuel to smooth it out.

We are building a bunch of PCs today to stay ahead of the orders... we have 3 that need to go out today... and also 1 Juice.

The boys are out of school the week so they will be very busy! They are going to Lowes to pick up more molds, the decal shop for more WUKAKING decals, and the post office!

Ok posted in the other thread... HAHA!

I actually ordered one of these for my BMW F650GS'YZ'Dakar conversion bike. Can't wait to see the improvement.

If it is anything like what the "original" HTC Power Controller did for my F800GS I'm gonna be

Battery questions

Ok, so I installed the HTC fix. Seemed like it was working good on the very short rides. However I installed a tender harness and had to disconnect the battery. Got out for a longer ride in the gravel and seems the snatchyness has returned.

Any thoughts? Do I need to disconnect the HTC run it and reinstall it? Was a little scary on the heavy fresh gravel with the abrupt throttle.

Thanks.

nope... power cycles makes no difference. Where did you install the external sensor? ... also what was the air temperature?

Test ride doing slow figure 8 with and without the unit to test the difference.
