made the decision to take Hunter Mountain road to Saline Valley and back to Wildrose rather retracing my steps...it was a gamble, but that's what this is all about. I talked with a guy at Teakettle Junction about it and he said it was no problemo and smoother than Racetrack, it was all good except some mud up top...
    It was great!! from desert floor, rocky and bumpy to sandy highplains, to switchback mountain dirt, to summit dirt with a couple mud holes and back down into a massive Joshua Tree forest..awesome!!!!
