I'm interested as well. I had a set on my 640 ADV and they took a beating.

This project is moving along nicely.
I have a few questions for you guys. The best protection for the tank would be to use a Carbon/Kevlar/Fiberglass matrix. Going straight carbon would be to brittle, going straight Kevlar would be to flexable..the combo of all three is perfect. We want a guard that will be ridged enough to protect against a rock, yet flexible enough not to shatter, we also need abrasion resistance. We have a few options on both texture and appearance. 1. CF on the outside would give a black Carbon Fiber appearance, 2. Kevlar on the outside would be yellow 3.we can do a CF/Kevlar weave, you get a yellow/black weave pattern We normally would do a gloss finish, however it occurred to me that a matte might hide owner provided scratches ![]() let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Matte black would be my first choice since my tank is black.

Hmmmm
As good as the glossy parts look on a Off road bike they usually dont stay that way long I agree the matte finish will hold its finish longer just my 0.02$

shiny like these. I would think if you wanted matte you could scuff up with scotch bright or wet sand them to your liking.

Either matt or gloss black. Don't liek the idea of yellow-ey.
