Got hit on the G/S yesterday and the forks are bent so really excited to see this group buy go through! Any word on when you'll start production. I'll live but I hate to see the G/S down for the count :(

Trying to catch up, but the work is still coming in faster than I can get it out!
Would still like to do the run, but just don't have the time right now to deal with the organizing. If someone wants to take care of that (like Solo Lobo did on the last run), it would be a big boost. If I knew how many to make of what style, I could order the material, get the job in the queue, and get an idea of a production date. If anyone is interested in organizing this buy, let me know. Otherwise, it is just going to have to wait until I can get some breathing room. Thanks, Guy |

I have just sent everyone a pm for a request of confirmation, style (4860 or 50mm), quantity, and who would like a stem turned and pressed. If I have forgotten anything please post up... I suggested that in 7 days times... or before if everyone gets back in touch... i would post up a final order list of those who have confirmed so that everything is transparent and clear. I will then email/pm guy this list and to arrange payment as he would like.
I hope this sits okay with everyone.

I'm still in, PM sent.
And, if others are also interested in a group buy for a Sub Mount and Tower Pin bracket for a Scotts damper, I'm also in. Jeff

Quote:
- triple w/o stem was approx $370 inc anodizing last time round - triple with fitted stem, bolt etc $536 - lost track whether there was any real price variance between 50mm and 4860s, but was initially quoted as +/- ten bucks - Scotts damper sub mount+ tower pin? HPMGuy, could you pls confirm options/costs |

A question to Beater, and others who are going with DRZ/KLX 400 forks, which are 49mm, rather than 50mm.
My plan was just to get 50mm triples, and just shim them down to 49mm using .020 shim stock. But Guy posted that he might be able to run a few at 49mm to avoid shims: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showp...&postcount=142 We will need to confirm with Guy that he can still do this, and coordinate through Clay, So to those going the DRZ route, is there any interest? Jeff

I would be fine with this, as long as there a few sets of this type ordered. I would have to modify the tooling a bit, which is not a huge deal, but I wouldn't want to do it for just one set. Thanks everyone for your patience on this project, and thanks again Clay for the help. I feel much better that this is moving along now. |

As time is ticking I wanted to push this along... I'm waiting to hear from 2-3 people yet but I figure its not fair to drag things out as Guy has given us a potential window of opportunity to make this happen. Therefore, I propose that I'll email guy the list of confirmed orders this sunday evening (remember I'm on UK time, GMT). I am expecting to hear back from two people imminently as they had a few questions that they wanted answered first. I've keep my totals list post updated so won't copy it all again. I just wanted everyone to be clear on how I was doing... any objections please see the manager. (she's doing the ironing now so please give it at least an hour before calling!)

Clay Spinner,
Following the PM; I've confirmed with Guy that he is making clamps for the WP 43mm USD forks, as he stated in his original post. Please put me down for 2 x sets of clamps (with new stem pressed in place, Stem Top bolt/washer and hardware). Many thanks Andy |
