just wrote out a check for the ADV model, can't pick it up until tomorrow!!

I'm pretty sure the OEM skid plate is plastic but I got this one and it fits nice(pic earlier in this thread):

Where is the oil filter on the older versions? That scares me!

The new Strom is a completely different ride than the old version - I have had ample opportunity to compare the 2 bikes, as my girlfriend rides a 2006 Strom.
