I really didn't like the stock color.

Just posted these in the old vstrom thread, might as well cross post them here as well. The stock tires are so bad in any sort of mud.

Earlier in this thread someone said I should put some Michelin Anakee2 tires on mine. Is that what others are also putting on theirs? I drive mine to work and anywhere I don't need my truck so off-road tires might be a pain to use daily but I also drive it on dirt roads and sometimes muddy roads. It slides around a lot even on dry dirt so if those would help with that and still be good for daily travel I will pick some up.

Look at the Kenda 761. Very inexpensive and well liked.

Well, here's my 2012 Wee pretty much set up as I want her. I'm still thinking about a skid plate or the Suzuki Under Cowl. I'm pretty much part of the 90 % that won't be running trails. The occasional fire road, sure so still contemplating that accessory.

I did have the good fortune of trying one really nice accessory but I don't think I could afford it.....

Her Name is Kara and this was her last local photo shoot. She's off to New York where she just signed with a major modeling company..... Ah well...

Not much in the way of farkles yet. I have installed a V37 volt coocase, I should have the SW Motech engine guards on the porch when I get home today. Waiting on the backordered SW Motech center stand, have the Givi Airflow adjustable windshield due Friday. I have a factory under cowl and hand guards on the way. Seat will be going to Russell ( not soon enough....).

A lot of people also use the Alaska Leather sheepskin. Medium is the size recommended for the Strom.

I move the luggage racks off the Vee to the Wee2 yesterday and replaced the Bling S on the fuel tank with something more appropriate. I hope to have the under cowl and hand guards next week.
