Givi E55 topcase on BMW F650GS Single
Would the Givi E55 fit "appropriately" on an F650GS? Or should I look for something smaller? I'd like to complement my E21 panniers with something larger, that way the bike isn't much wider but I still have ample storage space.

It can NOT be too big if you have side-cases, it'll probably look just fine.
Buy the case size that you need, not the one that just looks good.
As for determining the size you need, add 10% to what you think is the
absolute maximum, then get one size bigger then that.
In 2007 I figured 35l topcase should do it, fits a helmet and then some.
Long story short, I've got over 100l of storage space now, and need more.
