2005 prices for KTM Superlace wheels

i have several Sun rims in 21"x1.85" or 2.15" available in black ,gold and silver..drilled for my x3 SUPERLACE pattern with the oversized .343 diameter nipples...a far superior product than the oem Behrs that are like playdough

price is the same as buchanans suggested MSRP...

front wheel:sun rim ....1.60x21 = $156 silver+$37 black anodized=$193
...............................1.85x21 = $172.. "........... "....... "........ =$209
2.15x21 =$178 " " " =$215

rearwheel: sun rim 2.75x18=$190 silver ...+$37 black anodized=$227
....................3.50x17 or 18=$225 "..........."................"......=$262
............................4.25x18=$270 "..........."................"......=$307

Excels can be had for less...if they can be found with the proper indexing
for your hubs...OR,,i can have em drilled for my x-3 pattern just as readily

front wheel:Excel rim....1.60x21= $134 silver...+$37 anodize= $171
.................................1.85x21= $156.25.........".......".....= $193.25

rear wheel:Excel rim......2.50x18= $158.25..........".......".....= $195.25

trick supersized ss spokes and ss nipples =$122 per wheel
" " ss spokes and Zartan/nickle plated nipples=$110

KTM 950 Adventure...front hub......$230
............................rear hub........$215
this includes the s&h charges i have to pay to get them....they are constantly on back-order....i am trying to keep a small stock for my customers

Labor supersized SUPERLACE=$99 per wheel

if ya want the low budget approach,,,,for $100 labor ,,,i'll unlace ,relace and true your wheels with the stock lace pattern using your old spokes and nipples plus whatever rim you want...i can work with in your budget constraints and advise you on how you can get the most for your $$$$

sealing is $60 with appropriate hardware/valve-stems..(i accidentally typed in $70 in a previous post which i corrected after someone called me on it)

hubs

Hi Woody, what hubs would you recommend for the 950 with a superlaced Sun rim? The stock hubs (around $215 each, front or rear) or would you recommend some that are lighter and already drilled for superlacing? I plan on using both front discs and all the stock spacers and axles.....Thanks....Gary

currently i do not know of any other hubs than the OEM ones for your application,,,so far i have not heard of any failure to them,,,and they are competitively priced,,,and their weight is a non issue.....i do not have to modify the hubs for my SUPERLACE

so i do not feel the need to get others built outside of the availability issues...i have 6 sets of front/rear late model adventure hubs on backorder for over a month....front hubs are due in early may....

so if you have some hubs...we could rock and roll,,,woody

Woody, Ray, just checking on my order for my KTM 950 wheel set. Have not seen a charge hit my CC yet. When I last spoke with Ray early this week he said they may ship this week. Looking forward to getting them.

Uh, not wanting to spoil anything here but I ordered a 3.50 rear Sun for a compromise between street and dirt. Update me on what is coming my way.

Confused Goss

Hey Goss, worry not. Your wheel is a 3.50 - Woody had you mixed up with another ADVrider.

Danke ! I know because I got them today. Can't wait to get them on the bike. Headed to New Mexico for a couple of weeks soon. Will be able to put them to good use up there in the mountains. Will get some photos for you guys. They look real nice.

One more question WWW gang. I have a FastCo spoke torque wrench that the wife bought me for a present a while back. This one is the type I have to send back to them, or possibly you guys to pre-set the torque if I want it different than their suggested range. What if any torque setting do you recommend for your wheels ? Can you set my wrench up if needed ?
