Dirt! The cure for what ales ya.

Ok I got another pass from the Mrs. so we decided that dirt was needed. Some of you may know the place. Stonyford OHV area in Nor. Cal.

These are the suspects. It’s a fun group with lots of good vibes, laughs and skills.

We found impassible sections in our travels.

We found steep loose hills. (Believe me, that’s steep)

Steep and loose enough to make a CRF450R do this. (People we met on the trail)

Another shot.

The snow made us cross-country at times.

And sometimes there was no way through.

Winter was tough up there. There were more trees down then ANY of us had ever seen. A new CRF450X. (I want one)

A rare shot of a man, who doesn’t fall, on his butt. It was raining by now and the tree branches that you can’t see were very slick.

And my token picture of riding buddies and Dave.

Wow what a month! I’ve promised my wife that this is the last trip of the month so any other stuff I want, or rather need, to do will have to wait till next month.

I'll show you a place, high on a desert plain, where the streets have no name.

Would it be wrong to say "made you look?"
Actually the right spelling just didn't fit or look right.
That and I was having one. An Ale that is.

Pssst ... its a new month TODAY!!! Wanna go again next Saturday?!? So, had you ever been to the top of Mt. Julio before? It was amazing to not find any snow up there (5600 ft), and then encounter impassable snow banks on that middle section of trail 04. The number of downed trees on trail 04 was HUGE! It will take a lot of work to clear that stuff.

Obtw, I saw several un-marked single tracks that we need to go explore!

Great pictures as always Steve!
