Head injuries are grossly more expensive than broken bones and road rash..
So where do you draw the line?
Who do you decide doesn't need to be told by you how to live?

Should people who are overweight have to listen to you?
Should smokers?
Should people who drink?
Should anyone who is fertile and unmarried have to abstain?
Should firearms be outlawed?

Where do the fucktards who want to tell everyone how to live want to draw the line?

Hey Joe,

Did you know that you are a hypocrite if you feel like you should always wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle, but don't wear one while driving your car?

Short answer to the OP question:

"Is ATGATT overrated?"

Absoutely -- until you fall off.

At that point, ATGATT gains value just like any other form of insurance -- it becomes the only thing that will do.

Hey Joe,

Did you know that when you are riding slower than traffic and cars have to pass you, that really it was you that just passed the cars?

Hey Joe!

Did you know it's not possible to high side a motorcycle unless you're riding on the track, so it's silly to wear a helmet?

Hey Joe!?

Did you know that since bicyclists don't wear the same type of "gear" as motorcyclists, that it's stupid for motorcyclists to wear gear?

Hey Joe?

Did you know that you are a hypocrite if you don't wear full racing leathers because Valentio Rossi wears full racing leathers when he races.

I didn't make any of those statements. Actually neither did anyone else.

Land of the free my ass...

Wow...project much?

I said exactly where I drew the line...

Could give a fuck how you live..or how you ride..or what you wear when you ride..

I was fairly clear..if I have to cover your risk..you open your self to regulation..

I see the problem..I wasn't quite literal enough for the simple here..so, for you...

As a PEOPLE if WE see fit to share risk thru our current insurance system, then WE as a PEOPLE open ourselves to regulation of those risks..does that make it easier to understand what I previously wrote? Jesus H Christ...you wanna ride naked..knock yourself out..I don't preach attgat..nor do I ride that way..normally, yes..but sometimes, just jeans..

You realize I hope.... those fucktards you speak of..are liberals who try to regulate life and death.

PS..I didn't tell anyone how to live....mouthbbreather..
